•  FACILITATING THE CHURCH LEADERSHIP IN THEIR PUBLIC ROLE

The prophetic ministry of the Church hierarchy is well recognized. The Church is expected to be the conscience of the nation. The media seek the views and perspectives of the Church on current affairs and contemporary issues of public interest. The bishops are looked upon as opinion leaders, and a special category of Civil Society leaders. DOSS is expected to serve as think tank to furnish them with relevant materials towards informed opinion. In addition, specific thematic update workshops and consultation forums will be organized for the Bishops and senior church leadership.
