The CCS MKE is the Development arm of Anglican Church of Kenya (A.C.K.) of the Dioceses of Embu, Kirinyaga, Mbeere and Meru, referred to as Mt. Kenya East Region. It is a Registered Company Limited by guarantee established in 1982. It has its headquarters in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga District. It covers 10 Administrative Districts in Central and Eastern Provinces of Kenya namely:
