After nine years of CCS inception, restructuring by creating Zonal Offices was done in 1993. This was in line with the recommendation of an External Evaluation.

Water Hygiene and Sanitation
Enable Communities in North Rift to participate in accessing adequate and safe water, basic sanitation and good hygienic practices to ensure peaceful healthy and productive communities.

Economic Empowerment and Livelihoods diversification
Empower men and women through participatory linkages to market and access to financial and business development services for improved livelihood.

Democracy and Governance
•  Employing the principles of participatory decision making to enhance capacities for improved governance and democracy in North Rift
•  Equipping target communities with tools for advocacy and lobbying in implementation of desired development projects
•  Increase the capacity of the target communities in lobbying for decentralized funds
•  Improve the capacity of targeted communities in monitoring and tracking use of decentralized funds to ensure transparency and accountability
