In this financial year, the ACK- DOSS has received funding to the tune of Kshs. 62.37 million.
Much of these funds have been deployed to offer the much needed humanitarian support to those affected by the post- election violence that occured early in the year.
The ACK- DOSS sourced the above funds and created linkages with the regions to reach to the community. An estimated 25% of the funds have been dedicated to undertake long term projects through our Christian community Services (CCS) spread across the country. These regions are: UCCS, NRIDCCS, Eldoret CCS, and IDCCS Nyanza.
We acknowledge Diakonie Emergency Aid and the German Government, Lutheran World Relief, Action by Churches Together and Christian Aid for their contribution and goodwill to continue working with us.
Together we hope to build a society that enjoys a wholesome and dignified life.
